The Oil and Gas Industry and Sustainable Development of the Barents Region
Murmansk, Russia 9 - 11 November 2005

The international conference ”Oil and Gas Industry and Sustainable Development in the Barents Region” were arranged in Murmansk on November 9th and 10th 2005. The purpose of the conference was to create an arena where the participants could relate and discuss the mutual challenges and experiences connected to the petroleum activity, onshore and offshore. The conference brought together representatives from Russian and Norwegian NGOs, oil companies and members of the local community in both countries. On this page it is possible to download the presentations and reports held by the different speakers. The Conference was organized by the Northern Coalition and Bioforsk Svanhovd, by the support of The Barents Secretariate.
