Oil Transport from the Russian part of the Barents Region. The present reports are an updated description of the oil transportation within Russia and from the Russian part of the Barents Region along the Norwegian coast. It also describe the development of present and planned oil terminals and pipelines in Russian North.

Conference “Oil and Gas Industry and Sustainable Development in the Barents Region”. The international conference “Oil and Gas Industry and Sustainable Development in the Barents Region” were arranged in Murmansk on November 9th and 10th 2005.
The purpose of the conference was to create an arena where the participants could relate and discuss the mutual challenges and experiences connected to the petroleum activity, onshore and offshore. The conference brought together representatives from Russian and Norwegian NGOs, oil companies and members of the local community in both countries.
